I am thinking of getting a 1.2 corsa as I have just passed my test but I have been looking on insurance websites and i am getting quotes over £4000 surely this can'nt be right. I am 18 and have no years no claims and have no pass plus or anyfin so how does everyone get cheaper insurance ? It is near enough the same prices for saxo, punto, fiesta etc someone please help
depending how new the corsa is? Im insuring my 1.4i corsa tomorrow fully comp on my own for £1400 thats with me being a first time 17 year old male driver, no points, no claims and no additional drivers thats with elephant.co.uk
insurance depends on so many variables that it's not really possible to say who does that cheapest insurances. just use a comparison site and see what you come up with.
Where do you live though coz I been told that it will be thousands to insure as I live in manchester ?
do compare the market they give your number out i got it down to £700 on a 1.3 suzuki carry tpft was just under a grand for fully comp so went for that
manchester is no1 for car theft so insure it third party only.... will bring it right down. also have somone as named driver (somone old) this instantly brings the insurance down and it WILL NOT affect the named driver if you cxlaim (so put your dad/grandad/mum whoever on it) but ye, best bet is do comparesen sites THEN do an indevidual quote wiht the cheapest company.. it will always be cheaper as your not going through the comparesen site and there not taking there cut insurance is all about belling about and arguing it down.
