How to fit a muffler (Aprilia SportCity 125)

Hello!

This is my bike (same as pictured), the Sportcity 125 from year 2011.

The stock exhaust is a bit rusty and I am looking to replace it with some aftermarket muffler from Alibaba (not looking for something pricey for a 8 year old bike).

The Mufflers all have a 51mm inlet pipe diameter, but my scooter pipe is only 32mm. How do you guys handle that? I can't fund any adapter for it.

Alibaba! (or AliExpress) I've been trying remember the name of that website for time so thanks for the reminder. Some stuff on there is seriously cheap!

 

I guess you could shim it but I don't know what effect that would have on performance - assuming this is a 4stroke?

 

I would get some sort of middle pipe to connect the 2. I've done it a few times.
You need a pipe that is 30mm inner and 50mm outer. Old scaffold tube maybe?
