Sorry if this sounds abit stupid but how can you attach a L plate under rear number plate as I have no idea how to put mine on.... Lol
Doesnt Have to be under the numberplate ,,but my mates one recently came off his xt125 and we just put some superglue on the top edge and stuck it to the bottom edge on the back of his no#plate.... Worked a treat
we made a L shaped bracket with a bit of plate out of alloy and fixed it to the rear shock mounting lower bolt.
Youre meant to drill two holes that line up with the bolts on the number plate and put it in between the numberplate and the mudguard if that makes sense ..or just get stick on ones lol
either drill 2 holes near the plate bottom and use bolts, super glue or double sided tape should do the job or if theirs enough mud gaurd on show fix it to the with nuts and bolts! better still do as a girl does best and chat up a guy too do it hehe, honestly guys roll over backwards to help biker chiks!
Hahaha cheers for that ... Got my boyfriend going to do it for me not sure what tho will prob bolt it on. there isnt much guard left under plate tho but i got the idea now thanks
I used Sellotape sticky fixers outdoor like these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sellotape-Outdoor-Sticky-Fixers-Double/dp/B000KN06TC/ref=pd_cp_office_0 2 rows of squares along the top of the L plate has held mine on for about 500 miles now
show a pic of the back of your ped and then me or someone on here could draw where to put it piss of piss for a guy or a girl think the cat next door might even be able to do it
lol cant imagine a teenager on a big scooter like that lol yet alone a girl teen, that yamaha looks massive lol anyway Sticky L plates usually end up in the road just like car magnet L plates ill try explain but i think your best way is to buy a thin L plate and glue it unless your ok with making 2 holes (will never come off) option 2 if you dnt like drilling holes or are worried go for option 2 but to be honest if you just go to a local ped shop and ask them to do it for you i think they will just do it for free for ya
better off drilling the holes in the strip along the bottom of the number plate, that way the L plate will take less road flack and be protected by the lower section of the rear mud guard. It'll last longer that way and stand a better chance of staying attached
very true just trying to think how to make it easy for her though but their is still mudguard under the plate or just stifk a but of plastic on the ped and if you get pulled over tell police it come off ive never used a L plate and been ok so far
Thankyou!! hvent got round to attaching it yet but i got the idea how now (-: And i dont think its that big to b honest lol.. i wanted a burgman which are bigger but glad i didnt get one as there huge lol
jesus..... if you think your bikes not huge, you must just be a girl that likes BIG things :------ lol
burgmans are heavy! changed the rear tyre and pads (they have drum and disk at the back!) and its such a heavy scoot! LOL at enigmas comment!!!!
