Hey Guys like it says how often do you lot clean your bike? and what do you clean on it and how?

I Clean My Bike Alot to be honest, I Clean my exhaust once a week properly by taking it off and wipe it with WD-40 after every ride and its still nice and shiny chrome now no rusting at all (Gianelli Extra - Chrome).

I also clean my Carburetor Once a month with Carb cleaner, I Put Main jet and Pilot Jet in Boiling water to clean, Check fuel pipes for kinks rips and check air filter for dirt

I check my battery level once a month and try keep it full charged to keep the life longer

I also Wax and polish my panels, Reg, mudguards and forks just to give the bike the sparkling touch.

I Check Brakes everytime before i go out on my bike as id rather them work and waste few mins checking than Risking my life.

I also Check Brake pads every 3 month to inspect and replace if below legal limit.

You guys make think its alot of work and waste of time to do all this to your bike but if you think a well maintained bike lasts alot longer, looks better, performance is much better, more reliable and Show you care for vehicle and the most important bit is helps you stay say while riding!

I like mine nice and clean, I use muck off and a brush on the wheels and engine. For the panels I use more muck off and a cloth, just a quick wash but it comes up nice.

I like to have a clean Ped, wouldn't wear dirty clothes so why ride a dirty bike? Just looks shabby

When I first got my Ped the first thing I did was take all the panels off and jet washed the engine after applying degreaser. It's so much nicer to work on now, makes it pleasant istead of a pain In the arse and a messy job.

plus when you're cleaning it you get a chance to spot problems like loose bolts or lack of tread on tyres :)
