Check going rates on eBay, that'll give a rough idea of what they're selling for but I can't imagine it going for big money tbh

Sym are Taiwanese and are actually pretty good. Reliable and making a name for themselves slowly.
I paid £250 for a Jet 50 and sold it for £350, and it was 14 years old.

If it's been in a crash, have insurance dealt with it?,
could come undera classifacation.so's seriously affecting price + other issues in relation to 'crash',
    rode a few SYM's myself,found them good-
get one of their 50 2t's no worries,
an would consider their range alongside some major brand japs.as was quite comfortable with them.

Thought it was another Chinese bike, I see people ride them at college and the ones they have aren't very reliable

If I bought a d/r nowadays, would be just for parts only - frame, crankcases be a no-no cause they'd always be considered suspect by those who let you legally put it on the road. ;) .

How many times guys they're not Chinese.
And I rode my Sym Jet through the snow and pouring rain many times to college every morning and it never died once.
