how much to sell a typhoon 125 for

Hey guys just looking for advice on what to price a typhoon 125 at...its a x reg and the only mods are kundo exhaust and airfilter...comes with just over 10 months tax n mot...would be gratful of any ideas..cheers

 

It all depends on condition, get some photos put up of it!

 

Okay thanks...the condition is overhall good...apart from a not to good spray job on panels...only done 9000 from new...so any ideas

 

Stick it on ebay and you'd probably get anywhere from £350-500, they are getting rare and good one's fetch good money!

 

Some typhoons can go for quite alot, all depends on the year, you can get up to 600 for them depending on what 1 and condition.
What type is it? 1 like MARSH? or the new typhoons?

 

Its a 2000 x reg...so the older 1s...would it worth be keeping for a few years then the value might go up..

 

its not gona go up much more and if its not looked after its all just gona get rusty and scratched or broken panels as not stored properly ?

Well i think thats a fair price...seen has i have watched a few on ebay sell for over 500 with no tandt...condition aint bad ..just sscruffy panels..nothing major...plus nearly full mot n tax is gotta be piece of mind. .its don 9 to 10 from new...and only dobe 500 miles in the last 5 years as been dry stored cus of throttle cable snapping n me passing my test...thanks for the replies tho

 

if you put up some pictures i might be interested , as im getting some money after christmas and looking for 125

 

Okay cool...i will do...id be prepared to take 550 now as it runs fine once going...just takes a while to start as think th carb needs setting right as got a mate to clean it for me and now it seems to flood a little....probale just the float needing to be adjusted....i could have this sorted out tho no problem....oh i am a new member but i can genuinly say i aint using the forum just to sell my bike...i do have a genuine interest in scootera and appreciate all the help and advice ppl have gave me...just i have moved on to a gilera runner 125....as parts are a lot easier to find for these and plus i fancied a change....cheers guys
