    Gilera Runner SP 50
    Hey guys,

    I have a gilera runner sp 50 (07 plate)

Its jst gone in for a service and repair after i couldnt sort it out myself,

It is having new brake pads, starter motor, battery, and service, and for this i have been quoted just over 200 pounds, (this includes getting it running in first place and cleaning carb)

Is this too much? i just want to make sure i am not being ripped off. :)

    Thanks in advance,

    Jet

no, your both being riped off#!!!!

    250 quid on a SERVICE?
why does an 07 bike need a new starter motor? surely its under the 3 year warrenty still?

lets see, belt is 20-30 quid, plug is a fiver, transmission fluid is a fiver, rollers are 10 max, pads are a tenner, battery is 23 quid... so thats around 80-90 quid... its about an hours work so allow upto 60 for an hours labour.. where the FUCK did they get 200+ from?

why does it need a starter motor? more to the point why is it being serviced if you do work yourself? theres fuck all to service on a 2 stroke m8..
