    You ovb no fuck all bwt bikes ....if its a cast iron then you do around 200 miles an if it's an alloy you have to do a few heat cycles

    no clearly not, considering ive been racing bikes since i was 5 you tit. when you said " it only takes about hour but for a cast iron it would take about 250 miles " what so you do 250 miles in an hour?.. and when i say i would do 100 miles at least it means minimum, and i said to be on the safe side.. you may not need to for an alloy but it does no harm. you clearly are one special kid.

    no because you write like a spastic, and unfortunately i dont understand spastic.. there is many different ways to run a bike in, it also depends wether its air cooled or water cooled.. ive ran in plenty of motocross bikes and they have all been fine ive ran in my ped a few times and it seems to be working for me.. you clearly are to retarded to know that there is more than one way to run a bike in.

    well then you should surely know that there is more than one way to run a bike in, and leaving an air cooled to idle isnt necessarily the best thing to do as it wont be getting enough air to cool it properly.. supose everyone does things different upto you, dont mean to argue just sayin i always run my bikes in longer than needed..

    To simplifie;

    People say to run cast iron kits in for 200 miles, and aluminium kits (like motocross bikes) for a few 15 minute heat cycles.

    On my YZ125 I warm it up, ride going up and down the rev range for 15 minutes and let it cool down again. Repeat 4 times and it's done. I did the same on my cast iron aerox cylinder, and it's fine. No scores, and just as much compression as it did when I first put it together.

    People take running in way too seriously, if you do it for too long then your rings will seat poorly and you won't get good compression. Just do the heat cycles, and be gentle with it.

    erm guys, if you were running it in for a hour, and it was 250 miles you'd be doing 250 miles a hour, is that not simple math? but on a serious note i have a doppler s7r aluminium kit and i took the piss with it right from the start, its been fine for months, i am now loosing power but i think its because im running the bike lean, with a 100 jet in a 21mm carb with pm reeds and a polini team 3 exhaust, i cant find any replacement rings for the bore, would athena rings fit? they make the bore?
