I was looking at my scooters frame whilst siting in the garden having a brew the other day, and it dawned on me that I could shorten or lengthen the chassis REALLY easily. But what effect would it have?
the longer it is the more stable in a straight line...but more difficult to turn and the shorter the easier it'll turn but the trade off is it'll be very unstable in a straight line (twitchy) and prone to tank slappers
or you could go ahead and just scream when you go round corners hahaha. i had a jackup on my typh which shortens the wheelbase a bit it was dreadfull in corners i had to slow right down it wasnt fun at all
same typhoons handle abit shit with a raise up kit i had one and it woudnt corner for shit kept feel like the rear wheel wanted to spin out
For hadling...how many of you have checked your tyre pressures in the last month or so??? Anyone? arc: Low pressure will make any ride feel lie sh1t . Before you go out splashing cash, check the pressures are right note to self...get a new keyboard this weekend..fed up of missing letters
i have lowered mine abit for wheelies it doesnt wheelie straight when inflatted to the right amount, 35psi with 20psi it wheelies in a nice straight line, saying that i did spin out on a corner so might pump it up by about 7psi and try that
