Hello there! I have bought another bike after writing my aprilia rx 50 off and at £100 its a bargain! I have a 2001 Piaggio Nrg Extreme which i picked up for a very cheap price thought i can't let that go a miss bodywork isn't the best it's been fallen off couple of times but runs okish. It has a gianelli pipe on it and god knows what has been done to engine but it reaches 57mph top speed. It seems to be fast off acceleration up to say 15/20 then slugs all way to say 35 then it picks the speed back up all way to top speed i have been told it could be the roller weights but is this true? and does anyone know what the right weights would be? I'm thinking keep the bodywork as it is and work on engine so it looks abit of a shed but will be pretty fast. Pictures its ugly but ah well! Cheers, Josh
It is but I'm getting new front for it and new seat spray it black keep the bits green hopefully tidy it up abit then spend abit in engine any clue to the speed problem?
i would go for the weights mate, are they flattened?? if they are just replace for new and see how it goes then.
Right I see so if I buy 19x15.5 then just mess around with them till its right. And do you think I could put a newer model nrg front end to mine?
