How do i get rust off my typhoon 50 frame?

    does anybody know a good way to get rid of rust on a typhoon 50 frame i brought the frame yesterday and my mate who had it just left it in the garden for like 2 years with no cover like an idiot if anybody can give me help it would be much appreciated :good:

    looool i just heard a wire brush drill bit is a good tool to use

    sand paper by hand u have more control on what your doing i find

    i did the wire brush and drill m8, is was much better tbh

    yea wire brush and drill then a lick of hammerite when u got the rust off

    ooo do i have to use lacquer for hammerite btw is it spray paint or just normal paint i have to brush on

    i didnt use lacquer and i used the brush on stuff

    brush on, its thicker and protects better. Also you can get into the harder places :)

    make mine your target and it will inspire you to sand it down more etc haha :clapping:

    loooool will do :) so wire brush it then sand it down the put a few coats of hammerite?

    yerp, make sure you dont go mental with the wire brush as it can leave deep scratches in the metal :blackeye: nice and gentle now :thumbsup:

    hand wire brush (drill is harsh) use stainless wire also not a cheapo one as it does rub off on the metal. then yes brush on hammerite or frame paint (doh)

    also, remove everything from the frame first, no point being half assed about it.

    yeah i kno its fully repainted NOW i took everything off yesterday just took a pic to see the progress made so far
