its an "if i have to" situation id do this... i have the tool at home for any job i attempt to do.. as should EVERYONE. if you dont have the tool you shouldent CHOOSE to do the job. no real reason to do this tho as you cant change a tyre at the side of the road.

no the bikes in my garden and need to change the tyre since it has a puncture, not going to pay for a shop to take the wheel of when i should be able to do it :) if i have to borrow or buy an impact gun i will do :) so can i not do what nipples said and use a socket 24m and the back brake or lock the rear wheel??? and then pure hulk strengh?

no, even if you do its the only bolt holding your wheel on and i doubt you will be able to tighten it securely.. dont go silly wiht an impact wrench mind.. too tight and it snaps completly. hand tight (as much as you can holding the wheel/sitting on the bike) then impact wrench 5/6 clicks is usually fine. so you need one to refit the wheel, its a score from argos. why not

    both false

argos put it up to £30, maplins went out of stock quicker than a lager turns to piss

i said the thing about the 24mm socket and a good rear brake...

those cheap guns are intended to take wheel nuts off at the side of a road
