well this is my set up at the moment, and i just raced for pink slips LOL and won by miles and got my self a pug speedfight 2, i sold it to a mate for 250 and now gunna spend that on my baby aerox, becoz she diserves it for winning - Airsal 70cc kit - Racing competiton Crankshaft - Polini 21mm big carb - jetted up for filter - Polini matching racing air filter - Polini variator kit - New Polini Kevlar belt - Carbon racing Reeds - Uprated 70cc Gearing - Leo Vince Chrome sports exhaust. - Fully derestriced - New clutch rollers - ECU rev-limiter has been removed What can i get to push this thing faster ? i think its running at about 11/14 but im not rly sure, its going to psn soon
well its not really when u no u can win, hes on a 50 wiv zx exhaust.. think i no when a MINTED idiot is there mate, he got a new ped the next day.. the 11/14 is just what i think, coz my bruvs got a 22bhp gilera runner been dynod 3 times and he thinks mine is about that... but might not be.. like i said
Max your getting with that kit un-ported is 9bhp. With that exhaust you'll be lucky to be seeing 8bhp when perfectly setup. Only way without doing work to the barrel is to buy a new one. You're not going to get a good proper 70cc kit and exhaust for £250 though.
think im gunna buy MHR team 2 70 kit, they say it can push out 22, o and its got a yasina c16, soz that was the set up wheni brought it.. and i should be gettin c30 very soon off a mate
Well you can't run a MHR Team on the crank you have got plus you need to cut up your casings to get it to fit. A C30 is not a good match for an unported MHR Team. Using a C16 on the specs you have at the moment would be worse than running say a laser xpro. :msn1:
Edit: Actually if you say you have a C16 now then slap a MHR Rep 70 kit in it for a true 12ish bhp. Or if you don't mind about reliability you can get 1 ring kits that go well with the C16 and put out even more bhp.
my airsol is 1 clip , what about these polini ignitions they any good or waste off money for like 200?
Well you didn't state what airsal kit it was. Max bhp on the only 1 ring kit they make is about 11bhp. In that case then if you plan on keeping the C16 then go for the Stage6 Racing 70cc kit. It's about £120 and can get up to 15 or so bhp. If you can get a C30 for cheap then go for a Polini Evo2 for about £160. Note that you havn't said what crankshaft it is you have so i can't say if it will be able to cope with the power of an Evo2. If you do go for either kit you will need to realise they go bang VERY quickly if the ring isn't changed very regualarly and it will need to be jetted properly. As for the ignition kits they are of no use unless your pulling a very high rpm. They are only worth while on a full race spec bike.
what he said, but yes an evo barrel makes a mess of a stock crank #VERRY quickly and will need a new ring every 1000 miles if running more than 12ish bhp. the c16 isnt a bad performing pipe on the evo kit ether altho the exhaust match is a fair old problem and means sacrificing some power from somwhere in the range if using a pipe out of the box.
remember, max power on the higher spec 70's is rated WITH a properly matched/flowed case. so when you read on a website that a barrel nocks out whatever bhp it means atop a well built/matched bottom end. let us know what the taffspeed bill comes out at
