what nrg is it ? on mine its got quite stiff suspension so its fine id like it harder but its not good on the bumps when its so stiff but for bends its great theres nothing worse than spngy suspension half way round a bend at full tilt

all you need to do is get a jack up and/or adjustable spring

That is terrible advise , there's nothing wrong with stock suspension on a nrg , providing it WORKS as is should , just like 80% of nrg's out there your forks are probably out of oil due to leaking seals or simply seized up , rebuild them using new oil seals and the correct grade and quantity of oil . Rear shocks are usually fairly decent on piaggio's however with age they as any other component will wear out , replace the rear shock for a stock one (unless you have some money to throw at it then go for something a bit more flash should you wish so) . Handling is also greatly effected by poor tire tread and wear pattern ( has to be evenly worn across the breadth of the tire) , so if your tires are crap so is the handling . And as mentioned above , check your tires pressures regularly , i normally go with 34psi rear and 32psi front depending on time of year and road conditions .
Fitting a jack up will never improve handling , not from personal experience anyway.

jack ups are for fat people that want the rear end to sit at normal hight when they sit on it!!!

Freshen everything up as the fella above said, new seals and oil, and a new rear shock. Or at least take the shock off and grease up the pivots, it's little things that make it nice a smooth.

an adjustable shock are only 30 odd quid and they do help as they puttin more preassure on the back wheel...why do you think they make them adjustable so you can adjust them to your liking
