Hi, Looking for a bit of advice before i spend any money. I've done the following to the bike: Pipe out of exhaust CDI dug and snipped, resealed with silicone. Taken the washer off the variator The bike is stuck at 32mph top speed - taking the steps above helped acceleration but i cant get anything over 32 - what do i need? If i get a malossi CDI without rev limiter will this even help?
Yes but not by much. You'd be better off spending your hard earner money on a malossi 70cc cylinder kit.
They shouldn't have a restriction in the exhaust anyway. I would be checking the variator rollers. Those motors make like 6hp stock.
