    Hi Guys,

I was previously told that a Honda Vision is for girls, purely because reliability is for girls, tell me if this is for girls:

It is set to be released in December with an estimated price of £1800. 4 stroke engine, 169 miles to a 5.5 litre tank. Seems like a pretty good bike to me! Cooooool too, in my opinion cooler than an Aerox :) The price still could at up at the cost of the standard Vision; £1650 however if interest goes through the roof they will bump the price up. Final prices due after the NEC show end of next month.

If all goes well I will have it March - April next year when the 13 reg comes out ready for when I turn 16 in May :D

Let me know what you think lads,

    Matt :D

Personally I believe a 4 stroke is the better option. Yes I do think the extra power of a 2 stroke is wanted. However I cannot stand the noise they make, haha! At the end of the day I would rather put up with the lack of power and not have to rebuild the top end every 2000-3000 miles! The salesman was saying about a boy had had his original Vision (same engine) for 8 months and has done 8000 miles. Needed no parts other than a service every 2500 miles.

I seen online in a few places that said that a 2 stroke top end needs rebuilding after 3000 miles max?

It also comes in white + black (2 tone) and grey + black.. Repsol is the best! I personally think it looks really good!

don't be silly so everyone with a 2 stroke is rebuilding there top end 2 to 3 times a year haha that funny, if that were the case no dealers would sell them let alone offer warranty. Don't believe everything you read on the net loool:D

If looked after 2 strokes will last years. Never as long as a 4 stroke but will last a while.

By the way 8000 miles ain't a lot for a ped really. I once read that someone managed about 18k out of a speedfight without replacing the top end. Whether that was true or not is a different thing...

18000 is an achievement for most peds these days! I suppose some people just buy them and ride them into the ground!

i personally wouldnt ride a bike with more than 10k miles on a piston, 20k for a crank and bearings.
