    Re: vfr 400 project

ok il get t3rr0 to post up some thing,
it got dark by the time we took pics, and camera flash makes brand new bikes looks shit,
so a 16 year old vfr aint going to be no good looking model with the pans off   :pale: .....

    but anyway.......

.the engine and clutch covers have been re-painted,
.the top yoke has been re-painted
    .screen brace has been re-painted
.front wheel off, and disk being re-painted
.back wheel off, swing arm, chain, rear disk, calliper, shock, all had a heavy dose of elbow grease
    .oil drained, new oil in
.exhaust painted (soz but i aint polishing a motorbike exhaust system it will take for ever  :confused:hock: )
    .end can polished
.both seats re-upholstered (front in white, back in black to match panels)
.general tidy up (needs a clean but the garage don't have a tap so when the wheels are back on it can have a bath)

.the bike looks dirty in the pics because of the lighting, so il put a few and take better ones
(winter stealing the sun earlier then im used to :pale: )

    Re: vfr 400 project

    tell me about man lol,

its hard to get it across in pics, but the bike is super clean (well will be)

i guess when the pans go on it will be easier to show the progression.

no before pics with pans on tho :pale:

its more of a revamp then a project to be honest,

i don't think i could justify spending the £££ to do a real project on such an old girl.

brought new fairings for it, don't think they are a stock colour scheme but they aint one off's

    so would i

and erm :mod: if i told you i would have to kill you :mod:  :p ;)

    Re: vfr 400 project

    bait knows im sexy really,
he has posters of me on his bedroom wall sitting naked on his slider...... ( :confused:hock:   )

    ;)

    erm... what's left :confused:cratch: ....

err waiting for a new tinted screen to come,
waiting for a new set of mirrors to come,
got the front disk off, so going to give them a clean and paint to day.

wheels need to be powder coated black (bit that's taking long)
needs to be cleaned (like properly, with water not muc off and spit  )

    then fairings on,
    mini front indicators
    rim tape,
    exhaust,

and then i think that's it,
sale section time after that
