Hello all, Its been way too long since I've owned a bike and have recently bought a Honda Sky on a whim. Its a non runner so I have been cleaning it up a bit but I've a feeling that the carb is shot as a couple of the bolts have been over-tightened and torn away the ally thread and the plastic nut that houses the choke is broke. So here's my question...: would anyone know if the carb from a modern Honda scooter would fit? it's probably obviously 'no' but I'm not sure how to get her going otherwise.
    Cheers everyone
    and happy scootering

Hi Scubabiker, I left the bike at work in a huff yesterday as I thought I might get it started. I've one pic on my phone of the choke nut but not of the carb. The resident petrol-head at work said the carb will be specific to the engine, i am of the mind that if it fits - it will do . I'll post a few more photos on Monday Thanks for replying
