My 2004 Honda Dylan has just turned seven thousand miles - I purchased the bike at 4.5 thousand miles - I changed the air filter and plug at say five thousand miles and I change the engine oil say every 1500 miles - I have not tackled the valve clearances - what else am I required to do to keep the bike in good shape - can anyone suggest how long the belt and variator and rollers should last - I keep the battery on an optimiser

read the owners manual, should give maintenance schedule in there, i think rollers and belt get checked at every 40000km or so if i remember right. essentially when you check your valves and change the plug, check your transmission too, like do it in the same service.
