Hole in petrol tank, How can I fill it?

    I have got a small screw hole in the petrol tank, what can I buy to fill it?

    jus get a new tank m8 they arnt expencive frm scrap yard or have a look for a "breaking typh" add on ebay

    gotta agree gunna be more hassle if you just bodge it together?

    new tank there only cheap most peopel dont want/need em :good:

    on metal i use chemical metal that might work on plastic or you could use a larger bolt then the hole with a bit of sealer on it bit bodgery but could work.
    take it some dick half inched your fuel

    someone pocked a hole in my dragster tank so i just put a small fat srew in there and its fine

    Tanks are about £5-£10 tops. Not worth fixing.

    Bonfire night soon, you can burn the old tank lol

    The guys are right, you really shoudn't repair a petrol tank if you can get another one, a fire under your bum would not be nice. If you were really stuck somewhere away from home and needed an urgent repair then a product called "Q bond" is excellent on most plastics, not cheap but very good.

    chewing gum is supposed to work OK as a temp "get me home" fix

    never had to try it myself
