I have a 1995 Italjet Velocifero 50cc with a patched up, but still leaking hole about half way down the gas tank. Could this be causing it to keep stalling out? The clear tube coming out of the fuel tap has no gas in it, but tank is half full just below the leak.
Maybe. I'm just wondering if that has anything to do with gas not getting to the carburetor. Maybe too much air getting into gas tank? I don't know.
If the tank is plastic, drain it, wash it out, and have it plastic welded. If it's metal, drain it, wash it out, have it braized.
