My dad has just bought this in the past 2 weeks and he says when your 17yrs i will give it to you instead of a car is this good? will it not be a bit to fast for me? i will be doing my full bike test is it hard? i have had experence as i us to ride mx bikes ps i am 17 in july
theres a completely different feeling when riding a mx bike off road to riding a road bike n the road, i would have got a smaller geared bike to get used to the gears on the road, then you progress
wat mx bike did u ride if it was over a 125 then u will be able to handel it but that cbr is a lot faster than any mx bike but i bet its aint got as much low end power like a 2 t they all ways want to wheelie u should be able to ride it well if u pass u can ridse it so just take it easy for a couple of days
the cbrs deffently look nice, tiny close up though lol, im hopefully gunna get a yammy dt unless i change my mind before july
insurance will be a cunt. and as for too fast ? is only as quick as you want it to go. mx bikes totaly different although at least you will have experirnce on a manual.
well th e bike on an 04 plate and has done 4000 miles and i am getting it for free sounds like a good deal

erm, cbr restricted is gonna feal WEAK comp[aird to any proper crosser.. 33bhp on 200kg's.. fuck that when even a 125 crosser is 38bhp on around 70kgs LOL also off road is alot harder/feels alot faster so road riding by comparesen is a poeice of piss... aslong as you keep your distance and dont ride like an idiot you will be fine
Some one said that they put restrictors on the carbs for bikes like that at 17? Like they put smaller manifolds on? Not sure. Just heard some one talking about it the other day. I would take it though! I would love it if my dad said that to me..... Can't see it happening though....

After 1 day on it youl be thinkin you was mad for thinking not too...and you wont be able to get the smile off your face seriously (i did same thing but at 18 and older CBR) As for it being ''too powerful'' theres almost no such thing, the throttle turns both ways, just gotta respect the power, its when you dont the trouble starts
