Hmm Choke always stuck on aprilia rx 50

hello guys
Seeming to be problem after problem, my bike is seemin as the choke is stuck on as when i go to pull up hill it just doesnt pull at all im in 1st gear going up a hill and and going under 5mph. then it seems like the engine is flooded as it cuts out when i stop. So im guessing the choke stuck on. Any Ideas how to fix this or should i just take it to a garage if so could you say a price?

jay, what year is it and do you want to sell it?? and what have you done to it so far just curious

 

It a 55 plate so september 2005, And as ive just turned 16 i dont really want to sell it i just want to be on the road. I havnt done anything to it just put tax and m.o.t on it, the m.o.t cost me £275! What i thought is alot cheers

 

what!! £275 for a mot what did they do? work on the bike or somthing because sounds like you have been done there

 

Haha that was my first reaction! Front brake, back light, exhaust has been brazed ( need a new 1 thinking of technigas ) A few Other thing, Labor was £90 ( £30 an hour ) V.A.T £40 and some other stuff but the labor and v.a.t added alot , this bike has cost me so much so far i just want to ride it :L I would work on the bike myself but none of my family know much accept my brother, they like cars not bikes , O well hopefully be on the road soon! if your thinking of getting a technigas then really dont i got one for my Jog rr and i done everything properly. and it caused nothing but trouble "/.

 

Oh right? Hmm Like it is quite cheap on sale so thats why i was gunna get one and my exhaust has been brazed so i need a new one. So you dont reccomend then?
