Thanks for the posts, if anyone has a cheap scooter 50 or 125 cc in any condition in the north west for very cheap I would be interested even if its been lying around for a few years!

Sometimes chatting with the seller can help,
He may be able to fully/partly transport,
had some "free within 10 miles" or there's quite a few
of © £1.00 per milers, some mind could be quite greedy b......s,
but don't know till you try!,
Just remember !,if you have to hoof it ( ©shopping trolley or?),
It only has to be done once ~ then you have what you want,
    an satisfaction from your efforts.mark.

in response to that, sometimes you have to do what I did and push it for 4 and half hours to get the one you really like home..........

it might fit in the back of my car if I take the front wheel off but I don't really want to do that I don't know anyone with a van or trailer and I haven't got a towbar else I could pick up a cheap box trailer and throw one in that!

sometimes taking wheels off is best option, ive transported scooters by removing rear seats and pushing the front passenger seat as far forward as possible in the past just dnt tell my mrs I borrowed her car ;) or theres sometimes people on sites like gumtree that advertise themselves as man with vans, give them a call and they might be able to help you, always someone out there wanting to earn a quick £30-£40
