   I am Thom and new to Scooters also. I am getting my 2000 TR 50 on Saturday.
   
   My main reasons for getting a Scooter / mini bike are that I am sick of public transport and don't think the price of car driving lessons, insurance etc is worth it for the miles that I'm going to be doing.
