Hi all, I am going to be working on a project and I am in need of help from people more experianced than myself with regards to scooters, engines and modifications. I have 2 x Blata B1 mini bikes, they are 37cc water cooled and produce around 8bhp as stock, I am planning on drag racing my mate for a bit of fun with them so my project is to swap out the engine and rear swing arm and probably bolt on an engine/box/wheel from a scooter to increase the power. I can get an upgraded cylinder kit for the Blata engine increasing it to around 12bhp from a 46cc engine, but it still only a single gear. I was planning on fitting a 4 stroke pit bike engine in, but due to the gears and where the foot pedel would be it wouldn't be ideal due to the extra weight and not much extra power.
