Hi every1 I'm corey, just stated tuning a mbk rocket. I'm 21 car mechanic,spelling is shocking lol so please ber with me . Well I started tuning the rocket for fun tbh as its was cheep 120 pound piston, and rings we're foooked,split engine blow all bit of old piston and rings out,gave her a good clean then put a polini sport 70 kit on next was the polini team exghurst and then tnt 21mm carb (90 jet) is that okay? Runs mint seams fine just askin? , o and a pipercross spunge air filter to let her breath lool, need your help her guys as for the gearing I've only changed clutch springs at the min to (mollosi red springs) .. It would still set off at low revs so I thourt rollers? Its got 6x 3.9g in atm as that's all I've got,... I tuck 3 out she revs mint but still not mutch power,belt looks a bit saggy(maybe stretched?) Please help people, progress blog and pics will come up to night at some point
I'm going to change the belt this week some time see what happens, clutch looks mint lots of life in that left
Hello! welcome to the forums!! you should also put a reed prefer a malossi one with carbon reeds... so more mixture will enter the cases... also put the yellow malossi clutch springs... they are mad! and you should look for a good variator for your set up and a clutch spring (the big one) also at my 21mm carb i had 88jet.. but depends on the setup
That's for that buddy I have put so carbo reeds in they came with 70 kit dot you no if the stage6 viriator any good? And would you recomend a kevlar belt? Thanks agen
