Thought id sign up into a scooter forum before buying and going to work on tuning. going to get an aerox 100cc. any ideas on raising the top speed? should have the bike within 2 month gonna post another topic and moan about the cred crunch & lack of jobs in 5 lol.
i wouldnt advise 1 though pal Get something with a piaggio based engine e.g Runner (old shape), Piaggio typhoon, Aprillia sr, Italjet dragster How much you got to spend?
around £350-400 . only reason im interested in an aerox 100 is a few of my mates had them a few year back and i had 60mph out of one lol. and also my mate had an aerox 50 that did 55mph and that was only de-restricted lol. i need a load of advice on what to do lol.
yeah they will be clock speeds and clocks are not acurate. are you any good with scooters? there is a guy on here with a gilera runner for sale just needs the bearings fitting i think from what i remember look about aswell mate . . . never no whats out there like i said i would get a piaggio engine 125 2t perfect for tuning, reliable, fast
yeah i noticed when i got a speeding fine my clock said 60mph and i got done at 52 lol. itl be a good month b4 i get one so im going to see whats on ebay what sort of speeds could i look at getting a 125 to do ? with around £300-£500 to tune lol.
i honestly dont know what to get lol. just been looking at the aprilia sr 125. they look nice and theres a fair few bits to tune them
if your after a 125 ped mate id go piaggio, aerox 100cc r a waste of time. typhoon 125 and your sorted mate
