I'm riding a Vity Xc125E amongst others. It's not running at the moment. I'm actually a car mechanic but this one's got me stumped. It's a 2012 and I got it with 200 odd miles on it. It's now done 1700. Problems started a few months ago, I'd go for a ride, short or long and sometimes on returning after parking it wouldn't start. Sometimes having to leave it and come back later. I changed the suspected faulty fuel pump for a new one (Kemso) and since the it hasn't started. Each time I try it it'll try to fire fire up, sometimes it'll run, weakly, for two or three seconds and die. I've tried the old pump back on with no luck. I've replaced the plug, done an oil change, checked the side stand inhibitor switch and every other connection on the bike. The pump is delivering fuel to the injector and as far as I can tell it's working. Compression test shows 145 psi. That's it, any ideas?
Thanks for the reply. There's a couple of cheap throttle bodies on eBay, I'll probably try that route. I'll post back.
