Hi all ive had bikes of various types since i was 15 and then along came a family in 2004 and the bike had to go :( my last was Kawasaki ZR7 now ive just got a Branson 125 2 yr old and only 700miles on the clock for what seemed pennies.

Its not been used since nov last year and just been left outside in the elements... needless to say it does need some tlc to get it back on the road.

the first job was to replace the shoddy fuel pipe as it was leaking like a sieve, gave it the once over and fired it back into life.

I have been busy sorting the rest of the scoot out putting things where they should go changing bulbs etc, at the moment im working on the rusty forks as to try and prevent damage to the seals.

once this is done and reassembled i can concentrate on restoring the paintwork and wheels.

    all good fun

Welcome to the site mate, any pics of the scoot? I'm curious to see what it looks like as I've never come across this make before... and you never know someone may know of a similar design scooter you could use parts from if they see what it looks like :)

Hi I've only got one of it at the moment which I've set as my avatar but i will put some more on as soon as i can ;-) the bodywork is identical to the xingyue cobra but the clocks and motor are different.

Ill put the engine model number on and like you say see if anyone can shed some light on it as to locating parts etc :)

The engine block is a 152QMI but there seems to be a few variations on fittings etc but after some googling this seems to be the engine in mine Huatian Sport 125cc HT125T-21 so i guess its a xingyue cobra huation sport hybrid ???

I had a bit of an accident yesterday with the ignition key and it snapped clean in half in the barrel, not to bad i thought as i have a spare... nope the spare fits nothing on the bike  anyways i wondered to our local cobblers and he didn't have that size blank :( I went to the next town and tried Timpsons great got 2 made and i came home happy :D i went to try them in the barrel and  neither of them would work,

So I broke out the glovebox lock to take with me for them to try and sort it... after 7 or 8 goes he tells me he couldn't do it a full refund later, I tried the next cobblers in town and they tried 3 times... I'm beginning to wonder if I have to buy a complete lockset from CMPO at 82.00 o_O on a whim I went to a locksmith in the next town over and he assured me he CAN supply a key that would work but it would take a day or so .

Then I went on ebay and found a complete set of locks and keys new 17.00  do I wait and see if they can sort a key or should i give it up and just buy fresh locks???
