Hi - I have always fancied a scooter and have just picked up a Sym Shark 125 which I have now got running - blocked carb after sitting for months. Seems to run great and sounds good. Now needs a brake light switch (front brake) for MOT . However, can't seem to work out how to get the bar covers off! Sym UK say that the rear one is fixed to the bars and the front one should come away but it seems very stiff / impossible to move to me. Also, there is mention in the Work Shop manual of 'clips' to be undone after removing the screws but I'm dashed if I can see / find these. Any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks, Paul.
