Hi I'm from London, I have a 183 air cooled typh vespa. It's been a pain in the ass. The other day rode to the petrol station, put some petrol, came ouot and opened up the throttle. The bike started accelerating automaticallly, then the next day bike doesn't want to start. Any ideas guys. Checked for spark and there is petrol making it's way to the carb. The inlet manifold is worn but the bike has been running fine. Any ideas?

I don't think that this could be the case as i rode the bike home after it was accelerating by itself and i applied throttle as well to increase the speed, then following this it's not been starting?

you sure its not starting as the engine is flooded where the throttle has got stuck open

I am using a malossi 25mm carb could it be possible that the choke is stuck on, i replaced the plugs so it shouldn't be flooded right?

i should start if the chokes stuck in and i dont think changing the plugs un floods the engine

if its flooded you gunna have to try keeps the starter motor on for a while and hope it burns that fuel off (with the fuel pipes disconnected from carb
