Just got my first ped a couple days ago. 2011 Piaggio Typhoon 50. loving the look of it and the fact it's pretty beefy for a 50. Not really new to bikes as both my parents ride so have been pillion a lot. Just glad that I can get about myself now. Do want to make it a bit faster. Will probably start with the washer in the variator and taking the restrictors from the exhaust. Not got a lot of money so a bit limited on modifications at the moment but at least it will help a bit. And here's a picture of it. This was taken when I got it home. Was raining and not a good picture as that was before I put it in the garage.
Thanks! It has. Everything looks like new, only issue is that the right mirror is broken so needs replacing. Only done just over 2000 miles. Can't wait to get out on it. Just want to wait for a little bit better weather
Just 2000 miles. So it's barely run in then. The mirror is nothing, have a look on eBay I'm sure you can get one for not much.
I did find a few on there. Genuine ones aren't too much so I'll get one when I get time. It's no big thing at the minute. Just needs a service as it's only 18 months old and never been serviced. So will give it a good look over. Is it possible to get another key cut as it only came with one key?
A spare key cut shouldn't be much of a problem. Most locksmiths on the high street do moped/motorbike keys. My tip would be look around first. You'd be surprised how much in price these can vary from. I'd get that mirror replaced sooner or later though. You'll be thankful of it when it saves your bacon ;-)
I'll have a ask about when I go into town at college. The mirror is still usable but I just find it detracts from the look of the bike
