Hi there guys, I'm Alex! 21, Based in Shropshire.

I'm quite strange when it comes to bikes, I like bikes that have there own niche and are a little different to say the least!

So no, I dont run Piaggio, Gilera, Yamaha, Peugeot or any of the Chinese brands for that matter!

I run a little known brand by the name of Tomos

Here was my bike when I first got her...

And this is her as she stands now... (Awaiting a new ignition system, 90 degree carb top [Hence the tape!] and a shorter throttle cable....)

Still a lot of work to be done, but she's nippy!

I look forward to meeting you all! :D

I love these things, I was thinking of getting a puch maxi and dong the same thing :)

Is that really making 10p though? Did you dyno it?

Not it's purely an estimation on his behalf, but I'll happily take his word as gospel!

Fair enough, I bet it's a fun little thing to ride, especially with some power :)

It's amazing on acceleration, but the limiting factor is my automatic two-speed gearbox =( Massive gap in the powerband with a decent spanny, so I'm having to use a chamber with a weak return signal, but a much broader band

Well sometimes you have to sacrifice peak power for rideability, after all there's no point having power you can't reach/use.

That's why I love my aerox, my mates have geared bikes and always dip below the powerband after up shifting, im just straight in the powerband from the minute I set off :D

Don't suppose you have a GoPro or other helmet cam? Would love to see some onboard footage of your bike :)

I dont and unfortunately she's off the road, The flywheel has given in a bit and the keyway has worn away quite a bit. Also the cam lobe for my points is worn, and the points are shagged. Soon I'll be going internal rotor ignition, HPI kit with lighting coil :)

Mine doesnt use an A55 engine, A55 is the third generation of my engine, I'm on the First generation, A3.

To be honest, the dedicated Tomos forums are pretty crap, I'd rather be around lots of people similar to my age into the general performance modification of light motorcycles, as that's all my life consists of =P

I have my Full UK motorcycle licence yet I only run around on tuned 50's =P
