Hey Ive been into bikes and scooter's on and off for years. A few months ago i was offered a 50cc AC '99 zip RST for silly money and decided that i should buy into scooting again, it was badly faded red and as i had a few can's of matt black so that's the colour its ended up, however this isnt the colour it will stay... Well there seems to of been a bit of a change in the scooter scene since last time i rode, and its for the better :yahoo: Ive done some basic tuning, an exhaust (not sure what type as there are no markings apart from what looks like it could say speedfighter on the can) a TNT cone filter, larger jet, lighter rollers, uprated red clutch springs and a blue torque spring and it now pulls away nicely, keeps the rev's constant and accelerates smoothly all the way up to 55mph (well that what the speedo says!). But with all these things, once you pop etc... Having done loads of reading on tuning and tweeking and following some of the links on here i have watched have given me some fresh ideas and some serious plans... Workshop and tools are not an issue as im a diesel fitter by day, just need the funds and time to make my zip a bit more 'zippy' :blink:
nice bike mate i think it would look good with the the newshape zip headlight bars not sure if they would fit tho
