Is this engine worth tuning(spending money on?)
its a 95/96 of the ESXT frame no.
Am i correct to say the cylinders are cast iron? and if i just renewed the stock top end sre they fast and reliable?
What other scooter apart from the hexagon ran this engine??? is this piaggios first LC 125 motor?
    thanx in advance.

A top end rebuild would'nt hurt it, a 172 cc would fit but the crank is not the same as later models, I don't think you would get a crank anywhere, most engine parts will be obsolete for that year. Try finding a later model engine like the 180cc. I'm sure the Hexaon has the small drum using 11" wheel?

    Thanx for that Marsh,
Will probably just put std piston and rings on and use it for a cheap runaround.
