    Hi guys

I noticed this morning that I started my Vespa LX50, got on it after about 20 seconds and pulled away from the house. The bike sped off but the revs sort of paused for about 2 seconds at approx 15mph and then it just continued accelerating as normal, and I didnt have any further problems along my 20 min journey...

This happens every morning regardless of warming it up. Any ideas?

Does it hesitate every time you stop then set off again or is it just the first time when you leave the house?

If it only happened after leaving the house then the engine was probably not yet properly heated up. Make sure you leave the bike running for around 2 minutes each time you start it after it's been off for a long time (i.e. next day)

EDIT: sorry I didn't read the last sentece. Anyway, if you only let it warm up for 20 secs it is most certainly not enough.

Only happens in the morning or after work when the scooter has been left off for the night/day. Even after warming up for a few mins. After this its fine on the way to and from work.it doesn't happen

Could be, but wouldn't that auto turn off
at a certain temp, or revs after warm up, not as soon as i take off. I can warm the vespa up for 2 or 5 mins it will still hesitate after about 3-4 seconds after take off, and them its fine all day, until I leave work in the evening where the same thing happens
