noticed the oil filler cap has gone , need to drive home to day some 60 miles apart from buying a new cap any bodges to get me home its a Vauxhall corsa petrol
Nearest Vauxhaul dealer, nearest scrap yard, or shrink wrap and elastic bands until you get to the nearest dealer/scrap yard.
As Stevep said, Nearest scrap/breakers yard theyre bound to have something that will fit or the shrink trap trick but that should only ever be used to literally get you to a breakers.. Try that one at your own risk on a 60 mile journey but id stop every few miles to check on it..
plastic bag held on with a elastic band to a parts shop , then fitted said item after tying a cable tie on to the engine so it cant get lost checked it after 5 miles still there so hit the motor way heard loads of funny sounds on the way home but just ignored them till I got home every thing was fine
