I have an aerox 100cc and it revs by itself. i turned down the idle screw and it stopped reving but cuts out at traffic lights. ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS?!
when did you turn the idle screw down? you need to do it when the bike has warmed up so ride it for a bit then adjust it you could possibly have turned it down too much, also was it revving itself when you had just started it then when warm it stops if so that will just be your automatic choke if you have one.
thanks for your reply, and i have a choke, the cable goes underneath my handle bars but the cable has disapeard from my handle bars and gone somewhere in the front panel. and at first it was fine then i went for a long drive, and then on the way home, it started doing it, and ever since then its been doing it. i cleaned the carb, and turned the idle screw down and its fine but keeps cutting out at traffic lights :/
i would go for a ride do about 5 miles bike should be warm enough then and turn the idle up slightly. you need to find your choke though sounds like there is something wrong there, is it automatic or manual it should be on the carb, trace the wire back n see if its still connected. if its manual and on a cable it sounds to me if it was on the handlebars there could be something wrong with the cable, it may be stuck on so you need to find it n sort it, im guessing its cutting out at the lights because you have turned the idle down.
