help would jetting on piaggio nrg

hi there
piaggio nrg 2001 my first moped
i have a leo TT and roller , clutch springs
the spark plug is very black and oily ( iv put a new 1 in and i have tryed tuning the mian jet about 1.5 turns out )but no gr8 diffrents
i have like not bottom end maybe take off at 5000 revs maybe more is this normal ?
so i think the jets need changing ? if so what jet do i need to do pilot or main and whats sizes do you think is a good start

youve turned the main jet 1.5 turns hock:

you mean the mixture screw surely...

 

yer fule mix (sorry and im trying 2 turns out now ) but still looks rich
and take a small time for it to pick up speed ! (maybe clutch)
do yo thinka bigger jet is needed ?

 

you say youve fitted a TT pipe...

have you tried stiffer clutch springs to improve your take off ??? youll need lighter rollers too, or you wont have very good bottom end performance

 

i got the bike 2nd hand and so i need to take a look if he changed them !
but he has rounded off 1 of the bolt tips on geting it out ?

 

hammer the next socket size down on to the nut, and gently undo it with a ratchet

 

yer i will try that 1 more time lol
i tryed it but would not go on and i did not wonna hit it too hard

 

cold try dressing the sides you can reach with a file, to help the socket on.

 

i did not think on that will do it tomoroow
