    Hi.
I've just got a Piaggio 50 cc as cheap runner for work.
It had no keys, just a switch to start it.
I've just ordered a key set. See pics below.
I dont know about scooters, how do attach these please
    Thanks

That green switch with the red bit on, slots in behind the barrel (picture 4). But by looking at the red part of the switch it looks pretty damaged. It should be a triangular shape. Once your new key set comes. Slot the new barrel into the recess in picture 4 and it's all held in by a clip so it doesn't fall out

When I bought it, there was no barrel or key etc. So there be a clip still in when I go to put barrel in.If not and ifs been taken out, can I use something else to hold it
I awillin or will I need to order a clip.I asked the kid why it was dripping petrol from the pipe. He said I just need a 6mm fuel hose clip.Ill upload a pic when im back from work. Also what is this clip for on the attached pic.
    Thanks.

And they fuel pipe clip I guess goes here somewhere ?

Yes in that middle picture, you push the green switch into the barrel more and clip that clip on which holds it in place. You also need to slide the actual key/lock mechanism in the forward part of the barrel and add another clip in that other groove

Thanks, for the reply. Yeah I did that, what I mean is,dose the clip go on the ignition switch before, or do I slot it in an put the clip through the grove somehow as it doesn't seem to fit. And there is no clip I have for the key barrel bit. Unless its still in the chamber. Not sure if you can make one out.

Right so what you need to do is... have the clip in one hand. Slide the green switch fully into the barrel until you can see the metal groove line up with the groove on the green switch. Once lined up you need to feed the clip into the groove so both tangs bend around the green switch (inside the metal barrel). If you look at the website picture of the kit you posted. You can see the clip installed on the green switch. This is how it needs to be but inside the metal barrel. It will only fit properly one way round. So you need to move the clip in certain places until it looks like it fits good

As for your fuel leak. You can buy 6mm fuel hose clips from websites such as pedparts, adrenalinpedstop, eBay. Those fuel hoses are coming off the fuel tap, be sure that the leak isn't coming from the fuel tap itself....may need tightening. If the leak is coming from the fuel hose, give them a wobble where they connect and see if it's a tight fit, if not try with new clips or renew hose

One more thing, looking at this pic of under seat compared to mine. Am I missing where the oil goes ? I also dont have the clip that holds the ignition and key part on. Hopefully I could improvise with some tape or something.

That is where the oil tank is. A spout should be coming through that hole where the oil lid screws on to just like the fuel tank. Do you have an oil tank on the left side of the bike ? Will get a video sent to you now
