i took the cyclinder head and cylinder (polini 70cc) off because i had to change the exhaust studs..i put it all back on inc exhaust and started it up i let it run for a min or two and then drove it up the road and back, it was feeling kinda slow and sluggish. a minute later it cut out on me and wont start again. any ideas?
someone help!!! i put the 50s kit back on and the bike wont even start now, the rings are in place, cleaned the carb, checked the jets, the spark plug still has a little spark, i put a bit of petroel down the spark plug hole and it still doesnt start. what shall i do?
Are you saying its got a weak sprak ? so so change plug stil not working and its a shit spark on the new plug change the cdi i got one if you need one.
ok ill try a diff spark plug and use a diff cdi of my mates bike, if this doesnt solve the problem, does any know what else it could be?
yh i put fresh fuel in and it sounds like it wen i kick it.. but i can still see a little spark on the plug, wont it still start? ill change the spark plug today and let u no how it went
*UPDATE* ok i changed the spark plug and it gradually started for a bit and then it cut out. it now wont start again, everytime i kick it the oil and petroel light on the dash keep flashing on and off. i dnt get it though coz the petroel is going fru i can see it in the fuel hoze. minor what cud it be lol
Take the plug out put ur finger over the hole and check if there is good compresion. Try different cdi. Once the bike started was the plug wet when u got it out?. Try different carb.
could be the choke not working. Slightly block the end of the air filter as you try it. This will richen the mixture and it will fire if its the choke playing up
bleed the water and oil maybe then change the plug i had to use 3 plugs before i could get mine to run right and even run!
