Help with ignition stator. typhoon 172 AC

hey i have a typhoon 172 air cooled and aparently if i put this on it will be ebtter for it than the standard one.. it says its for LC 125's though. im sure ill be able to put this on without any hasstles right? I've seen some topics that says its fine and putting in a lliquid cooled stator into an ac engine is fine.. just want to make sure ebfore i buy it! its this what im panning on buying by the way > http://www.scooter-center.com/scowe...GILERA_RUNNER125FX&category2=CAT:CAT_ZUENDUNG Should this fit my typhoon 172?

 

Oh and will my original air colled flywheel fit around this?

 

i would like to know the answer to this also. But i wouldnt pay £150 for one though. Got a 2nd hand one of ebay last month for £20 delivered. Up to you mate

 

Oh wow! Thats a bargain! I know the stator will fit and be fine, even if its for LC jsut unsure if they Flywheel will fit the stator! thanks, i shall try ebay

 

None for sale on ebay :/ Did you buy a gilera runner one or typhoon one? Would you consider selling yours?

 

Im keeping mine, just waiting on a cheap LC Standard or malossi CDI and LC flywheel, get it lightened and boom! The guy who sold the stator to me was selling a few. I will PM you the item number that i won and you can contact him maybe

 

Well after some thinking and getting around the bike! there was nothing wrong with stator in the first place!!!! it was a wire that had been trapped under the earth bit where it bolts on soo! finally sorted and and soldered the wire back together and jobs a gooden! got myself a nice FAST ped
