basically I have just downloaded Steam and bought Counter Strike and CS: Condition Zero from Steam as a good mate of mine has it. So I spent for ever and a fucking day downloading the poxy fucker. I open up CS and the resoloution was about 20x10 So I changed it too 1028x960 I think it was, not too sure. Then all of a sudden my screen went blank and says "SIGNAL OVER RANGE!" Then my PC wont do anything and I have to restart it.... i.e switch the plug off and on. ..... WTF I can't even change the fucking resoloution and I haven't even played the fucking game. Could some one shed some light on this? Thanks
Try manually editing the resolution option by right clicking CS in your my games tab in steam > Properties > Set launch options and putting in -width whatever -height whatever Set it to whatever your desktop is for starters.
i was gunna say cs is poor quality compared to most games you could probz run it on on board graphics lolol
yeah i know that what im trying to say in laymans terms is if your graphics card is an onboard one and if your pc is shit then its not going to work, try and find out what graphics card you have and i might be able to help a little more
I right clicked on the CS icon > properties > and changed the resoloution to the reccomended one. Cant remember what size it was. Cheers for the help though guys.
