I bought a top racing n g clutch & ive got blue polini clutch springs on the clutch now
i put it on my ped and all it does it rev up & not kick in so tried adjusting the spring tension from loose to tight & still no kicking in
i think it might be the springs its self but not 100% sure so was wondering if anyone knew anything
Ive got a gilera runner sp 70 2004 LC

any help would like greatful as im getting pissed of with this clutch

if its just revving up and not catching then the springs are most probably to tight, did you also re-assemble it correctly with everything how it was prior to the change?

well i took it to my local bike shop to change the clutchs over and then i sat there adjusting the srpings and like said it just revs up. oh i did get it to move when i had the springs loose but had to rev up like mad which anit right. do you think i should drop my spring colour to yellow or green polini spring ?

have you touched the rollers? and yeah if its taking to many revs to move up then the clutch is needing to spin more in order to open up and engage, so the springs are to strong

if it was fine before then try the springs that were being used originally and work your way up/down from there, its all trial and error ;)
