right, my scooter wouldnt start this morning, so i thought it was because it was cold.. when i got home it was hot so it should have started, yet it didnt and the battery died.., i went and got a new battery for the bugger, did exactly what it said, and hooked it up right nd everything, yet it still fails to start ! I think its ticking over.. well im pretty sure as i can hear it.. yet its not starting.. anyone help me, i need my ped back asap as i need it for work 2mrw and sunday!
right i reckon its the spark plug as im pretty sure im not getting a spark..., i had a 70kit fitted so might need a dif plug.. what plug shud i get for a 78 jet.. on a gilera runner..?
yeah first thing you should do is take the plug cap off and put the ht lead to an earth on the bike (frame will be fine) then turn it over if u get spark try changing the plug then if that dont work then your plug cap is gone. if you dont get a spark that means iether your coil is bust or something electical. you will need a multi meter to check the coil . if u still have the problem !!
