help setting squish

trying to set the squish to .8 on my scooter but when i take out all the gaskets it is still to big at 1.4mm, to get any lower than this i will need to skim the barrel wich side do i skim, the top? i am running a pm 70

 

you will need to skim it unless you can put in a thinner base gasket under the barrell

 

it would have to be thin to loose 1.4, do you have to set the squish with that kit or is it fit and forget?

 

think i will have to to get it skimmed
