Hi I am hopeing someone out there can help me I have a neos what I have started to tune it will go slow on take off but at about 10mph it will go like Fuck I want good take off at bottom end so I can wheelie it at bottom end Set up so far 70cc stage 6 street race Stage 6 pro rep pipe Full cycle crank 21m carb with a 100main jet Open air filter C4 mains 4g rollers And the rest is standard
Install stiffer clutch springs, then you will get a good take off from bottom and easily pop a wheellie http://www.pedparts.co.uk/product/663/stage6-clutch-spring-set--aerox-minarelli
I think they are a bit to light and what will the washer do stevep do u think I will need a 1500 spring what gos on the back of the clutch
The shim will space the fixed plate out by 1mm, allowing the engine to rev a bit higher before the belt starts to bite on takeoff. Torque springs and clutch springs are all trial and error jobs, you have to try each one to see what works best or to your liking.
I have the malossi sport 70cc cast iron cylinder kit. I use the green clutch springs, white contra spring and the multivar variator from malossi. If your belt dosn't slip, dont use stiffer contra spring(big spring behind the clutch) The multivar variator holds the engine revs more steady than the standard variator, Its a very good upgrade if you have a narrow powerband. http://www.pedparts.co.uk/product/292/malossi-clutch-springs
My belt do slip so I think I will need to get a stiffer contra spring do u no if the stage 6 variator is any good as that comes with a contra string all I want the bike to do is wheelie off the mark lol
