    - Reeds= ???

    Reedblock = P2130048

    Gears = Havn't got a clue what would be the best ratio. I'm sure minor will know what went into the nrg he built not to long ago.

    It would be a good idea to email sip about if that is a premix carb or not as they don't say.

    I did ask minor about that one, he said i would be better of with a polini/malossi kit from sip. He did say he would tell me what stuff to get but he aint on and im bored lol :p

    Also doesnt minor mod the standard reed blocks just as good? or is it worth getting one anyway?

    cheers for that tho mate ;)

    The Malossi carbs kits say if they are premix or not. The polini one doesn't list that it is or isn't so it's worth taking 5 mins to send an email. Sip should reply quite quickly.

    You can mod the standard block to be pretty much as good. You need a set of MHR/Evo reed petals to do it properly though.

    last one had both primary and secondary malossi and was no slouch.. longest single gearing you can find.. devide one number by the other and you get the reduction... so say if the gearng was 10/30 tooth it would be a reduction of 3.. the lower this number the longer the gearing (more top speed) reeds you may aswell grab the evo/mhr petals an ill mod yours..

    was that it? :D

    Just the reply i was looking for.

    Longest single gear i can find is a Malossi secondary at 13/48 = 3.69. Thats one hell of a gearup. :msn1:

    Part number M678938. It seems to be a bit touch and go on what size gearup the older bikes take though. 18mm or 17.67mm.

    one moddle has a 3rd support bearing and the other doesent, the new shape has the support and im guessing uses a slightly larger shaft (judging by the wheel size too)
    remember your spare wheel terro?
