I have a Piaggio NRG power DD 50 cc
I put a leo vince exhaust onto it
(drilled restrictor out, rollers they supplied me with when i orderd were way to small, 15x13 i think)
Opened the engine casing and changed the rollers to Malossi 19x15.5mm 7.2 grams
(would the 0.5 mm make a difference to engine?, or do i need heavier/lighter rollers)
The bikes accelerationtto 30 mph is better thent he stock rollers
But now the bikes top speed it about 35mph ( full throttle 9k revs)
    20mph WORSE!

so i rang a friend and he said try putting the old rollers in
I put the old rollers back in
    Acceleration is back to normal
But now the bike hits 15mph and struggles to gain power
I dont have a clue whats wrong with it SOMEONE please help.

Also about air filters, inside the airbox should the air filter be kinda squashed in at the top and sides of should it just be placed on to.

Im considering taking it to a mechanic and costing an arm and a leg just to get it fixed!

Are you sure you took the restricter out ? and did you up jet it ? i would put a 60 jet in and put some lighter malossi rollers in, bout 4 - 5 gram

I havent upjetted anything, and we just played around with the tickover screw and now it seems to be working better.

Itll talk a few seconds to hit 10mph then the acceleration is alot better.
( with stock rollers and leo vince zx exhaust)

I'm sure i took the restrictor out the exhaust cause i was there while we were drilling the weld so we good pull out.

It's ticking over at 2k revs

My mate had this exshaust, try 4.5 gram rollers and a 60 jet should be fine and im guesing with the standerd rollers it feels like its kicking in , like a povervalve on a crosser

7.2 grams rollers are too heavy, 6 grams or lighter would be better ;)

I managed to sort it out, and its not running better then ever. With stock rollers and de-restricted leo vince exhaust.

I looked at a friends air filter, the way it was placed inside his airbox and did the same to mine and it started working. So obviously the air filter wasnt in properly.

So im gonna put the 7.2 gram rollers in tonight and see what they're like, and then maybe go lower around 6 like you said, because at the moment with the stock rollers in the bike pulls away at 7 thousand revs and cruises around at 9, hits 10-11 when im doing 60.
